MiniMax H3 comes in two versions on this site. They take the same inputs — text, a first and/or last frame, or reference images, clips and audio — and both generate sound with the video. The difference is speed, sharpness and price.

When to use H3 Max
- Trying ideas. At 480P a 5-second clip is 30 credits, so you can test a prompt several times before committing.
- Social clips. 1080P vertical video is plenty for TikTok, Reels and Shorts.
- When you're in a hurry. Most H3 Max renders finish in about a minute.
When to use H3
- Sharp detail. H3 renders 2K directly instead of upscaling, which keeps faces, fabric and small text crisp.
- Final versions. Once a prompt works on H3 Max, render it again on H3 at 2K.
- 4-second clips. Only H3 goes down to 4 seconds.
What a video costs
Price is seconds × the per-second rate, shown on the Generate button before you start. Reference videos are billed per second like output, and reference images beyond the included ones (2 on Max, 5 on H3) cost a little extra. If a render fails, the credits go straight back.
